Prenatal Strength Training

Postpartum Strength Training

Postpartum Strength Training

I worked with Erin both in the capacities of prenatal strength training and postpartum core rehab during my 3rd pregnancy. It is hard to put into words just how valuable both of these investments were to me. Erin is not only extremely knowledgeable, she was compassionate, empowering, and validating through a very challenging pregnancy and postpartum period. Having two previous births to compare to and significant anxiety around exercise in pregnancy, I have never felt stronger, more capable, or more supported than I did training with Erin. She has a wealth of information about the female body and a deep understanding of the prenatal, postpartum and motherhood experience. As a bonus, she has a vast network of specialist to recommend in other related areas. She was instrumental in the early postpartum days, checking in, and continuing to offer support outside of strength training. She was even able to connect me with an amazing lactation specialist that helped immensely during the early weeks of breastfeeding.

When I felt ready, I started Erin’s core rehab program and worked with her for 12 weeks. Again, her support and encouragement was amazing. I have continued to complete her workouts and truly feel stronger now than I did even before having children! Working with Erin made my third and final pregnancy a much more positive experience despite its challenges! Erin is a true gift to mothers. I cannot recommend her enough.

WHY STRENGTH TRAIN IN PREGNANCY?

"Erin is a wonderful personal trainer. She took the time to talk to me about my health and fitness goals and made a plan that worked within my schedule and physical limitations. Erin's expertise comes through when explaining modifications to help me work up to higher intensity exercises, all virtually! I've been working with her 1:1 for 18 months and I feel stronger and healthier. Thank you for helping me be my best self!"

"Erin's 6-week postpartum program was the perfect stepping-stone for me back into the world of exercise; each week the exercises progressed so I always felt challenged. Her knowledge about postpartum and recovery was extremely helpful as I was recovering from a second c-section. Erin made herself available for questions/concerns and her tailored-workouts helped keep me accountable throughout the rest of the week. It was great to know that I was strengthening my body again but at a balanced and healthy pace. Carving out 30 minutes of my week for myself was also extremely beneficial to my mental health and it was nice to be able to talk to another mom during a period that can be isolating at times. I would absolutely recommend her program to any new mom, thanks Erin!!"
